yum install java-1.6.0-openjdk
firewall-cmd -zone = public -permanent -add-port = 25565 / tcp
firewall-cmd -reload

adduser mcserver

passwd mcserver
#this allows you to run screen while su'd from root for the next step
chown mcserver `tty`

su - mcserver
mkdir minecraft
cd minecraft

chmod + x minecraft_server.jar
screen
